A bit about me
I’m married to a super guy called Mick and we have two hilarious boys called Max and Scotty. When we’re not challenging each other to a strategic board game, we are out walking through a rainforest somewhere, camping in our swags with friends, or getting loud with karaoke! I’m also studying a Bachelor of Ministry at Malyon and work part-time for Alpha Australia Prisons.
Most defining moment
After 12 years of knowing Jesus, it’s hard to put my finger on my most defining moment. The fact that I am redeemed set free from the curse of misery and death and that it was Jesus who bridged that gap (the huge chasm between me and God that I could never close) and I never even knew He was there… wow! Realising the extent of my salvation and embracing it with all I have, knowing that I never have to live without Him and never have to look back at that old dead life again: that was my defining moment and I’ve never been the same… praise our merciful Jesus!
Why I do it
Prayer is fundamental in our relationship with Jesus; without prayer, we are sinking ships in a bottomless sea. All things are possible in Christ Jesus and I believe we must start with, continue, and end with a prayer to truly walk in the freedom He gives us. I love prayer: it’s my passion, it’s not just a means to an end or something we have to do. Prayer is a wonderful life journey of love and relationship with Jesus and each other. Jesus is building and equipping Riverlife to step into our calling as a house of prayer for the nations! Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?!
