Flood
Response

"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Galations 6:2

Riverlife has been providing support to a number of flood-affected people, and we’re not done yet!

How Riverlife Has Helped

At the invitation of local council, Riverlife was opened as a Flood Refuge Centre immediately during the flood, where we were able to provide a safe place to stay for more than 70 members of the local community.

Using our regular Street Teams model, we were then able to send more than 118 volunteers out to assist with flood recovery and the cleaning up of properties that had been affected.

What Riverlife is Continuing to Do

We are committed to providing long-term support for those affected in our local community and are working closely with local council and government to do this. Support may include meals, assistance with immediate needs, help around the yard, prayer or providing a listening ear to chat.
