About the role

The Executive & Administration Services Manager is a senior operational role that sits at the heart of the Riverlife team. You'll provide high-level support to our Executive Team and Senior Pastor, lead our Administration team, and oversee the delivery of administration services across our pastoral and operational ministries.

This role also carries HR line management responsibility for our Communications function — providing staff oversight and accountability to our Creative Designer and Content & Communications Coordinator, while day-to-day creative direction for that team flows from our Operations Manager and Senior Pastor. It's a role with genuine breadth: executive-level support, team leadership, and cross-functional people oversight all in one.

What you'll do

• Provide high-level administrative support to the Senior Pastor, Executive Team, and Operations Manager

• Lead and develop the Administration team (Receptionist and Administration Assistant)

• Provide HR line management to the Communications team (Creative Designer and Content & Communications Coordinator)

• Oversee administration support to pastoral ministries and coordinate resourcing across the church

• Manage key operational projects including staff reviews, onboarding, and special Executive initiatives

• Keep the church running smoothly — filling gaps, solving problems, and making things happen

What we're looking for

• A proven leader with experience managing a team and supporting senior executives

• Someone comfortable holding HR accountability across diverse functions without needing to be an expert in each

• Initiative, creativity, and sound problem-solving — with the ability to thrive within clear accountability structures

• High-level organisational skills and the ability to handle competing priorities with grace

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience with database or operations platforms

• A committed Christian who is passionate about the local church and its mission
