2026 AND BEYOND AT RIVERLIFE
God is doing something beautiful at Riverlife. We're in a new season as a church community. We believe that God's building something that will outlast any single season, and He's inviting every one of us to be part of it.
In 2026, we're not chasing the next big event or initiative. We're going deeper into the foundations of what God has called us to be: a people who worship wholeheartedly, who are being shaped as disciples of Jesus, and who live on mission in our everyday lives.
We believe that as we grow in these foundations together, God will raise up leaders and release capacity for everything He has ahead of us.

We are learning to be a community whose first response is to turn our attention to God. When we gather on Sundays, when we step into the prayer room, when we turn our attention to God in the ordinary moments, we are doing what we were made for. Growing deeper means letting these rhythms shape us more fully; not as routine, but as genuine encounters with the living God. We want to create space for authentic encounters with Jesus.

Following Jesus is a whole-of-life journey. We are committed to growing Christ-centred Christ-shaped Christ-sent women and men who are being transformed and who can help others do the same. Through Life Groups, Streams courses, and the teaching life of our church, we are being formed as followers of Jesus. Growing deeper means staying teachable, walking in honest community, and allowing the Holy Spirit to do His transforming work in us. This year, we are also intentionally developing leaders who can carry the mission into the future.

We exist for more than ourselves. God has placed us in our neighbourhoods, workplaces, and relationships to be carriers of His Kingdom. We want every person at Riverlife living with missional intentionality. Through Alpha, Community Blitz, Community Hampers, and the everyday relationships God has placed us in, we are already living on mission. Growing deeper means becoming more intentional, more available, and more willing to be sent by God right where we are.

This vision isn't carried by a few. It's carried by everyone who calls Riverlife home.
We are asking every person to invest in what God is building here through three expressions of faithfulness:
Your finances: giving consistently and generously as you have means, in obedience to Jesus and in response to the Holy Spirit's leading.
Your gifts: using the abilities, skills, and spiritual gifts God has placed in you to serve others and strengthen the church.
Your relationships: showing up with care, connection, and genuine love for the people around you.
