LOVE IN ACTION: AS WE GO TOGETHER INTO OUR COMMUNITY

 

 

At Riverlife, 2025 is all about going Into Our Community Together. We believe God has planted us here—in this time and place—for a purpose. Our vision is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, stepping out in bold love to meet the needs of the 4073–4074 community. This year, we are sharpening our focus on three key activities that declare and demonstrate God’s love in tangible ways:.

 

COMMUNITY BLITZ/CARE DAY

A Single Day of Practical Love, A Lifetime of Impact.
Imagine an entire community flooded with acts of love in a single day! This year, we’re uniting as one church family to serve others in ways that honor, restore, and provide hope. We’re stepping out together to show our local neighbors how deeply they’re loved by God.

 

This isn’t just another event—it’s a movement. Join us in making a powerful statement of love as we roll up our sleeves and go into our community, together.

 

COMMUNITY HAMPERS: MULTIPLYING GENEROSITY

Be a Part of Overwhelming Someone with Love.
We’ve seen how much our Christmas hampers can mean to those who are struggling. This year, we’re dreaming even bigger—multiplying this ministry to flood the streets, homes, and hearts of our local community with generosity and love.

 

Each hamper will be delivered with prayer and care, blessing not just strangers but spreading hope through relational networks. By partnering together, we can bring joy, encouragement, and the good news of Jesus to hundreds of families.

 

A COMMUNITY CAFÉ: FIND CONNECTION, FIND HOPE

Opening Doors, Making Space for Relationship.
This year, we’re building something for the long haul—a place where our local community can gather, rest, and connect. Our café will open during the week, offering great coffee, good food, and even better conversations.

 

Whether it’s students studying, mums finding connection over a shared table, or someone simply stopping to rest, we’re creating a relational space where people can find God’s love in the warmth of a community that cares.

STEP INTO THE FAMILY BUSINESS

This vision isn’t reserved for a few people; it’s for all of us because we’re all part of God’s family. Just like Peter in Acts 3:6, we don’t have to give what we don’t have—we only need to offer what we do have. As we step in faith, God will use it to shine His love, joy, and hope into our world.
