RIVERLIFE CAFE

We are thrilled to announce that the Riverlife Cafe is opening mid-week very soon, and you could be a vital part of this wonderful new ministry.
 

Riverlife is building a team of hospitality-focused volunteers who want to sow into community outreach. Initially we will operate a couple of mornings a week as we establish a reputation for a consistently delicious experience.

We are looking for volunteers who are passionate and flexible, and able to commit to a regular rotating roster. Everyone on the team will receive training for their roles and support from an experienced leadership.

ROLES

• Cafe Hosts will be the warm embrace of Jesus, connecting patrons with Riverlife resources and offering prayer as needed.

• Baristas will be the sustaining flow of Holy Spirit as they brew consistently excellent coffee that brings even the most rushed labourers in from the streets.

• Front Service Team members will be the smiling face of Jesus as they efficiently and joyfully receive orders and distribute delicious food.

• Kitchen Team members will be the beating heart of God, as they create nourishing food and beverages, keeping our patrons coming back for more.

We want the Riverlife Cafe to reflect the Lord we love; consistent, welcoming, nourishing and safe. A place where tastebuds and dreams come alive, and burdens and needs are laid down. A place where the living presence of God dwells powerfully amongst both hungry and overflowing hearts, over great coffee and food.
