A bit about me
I have been a part of the KBC/Riverlife family since I was a teenager – and now I’m a grandmother! I’m married to David, have six fabulous adult children and children-in-law, and seven gorgeous grandchildren. After serving the church as Worship Pastor for 25 years, I ‘retired’ to part-time work in 2017 as Riverlife Events Manager, allowing time to be involved in my grandchildren's lives. Both these roles are a joy and a privilege.
Most defining moment
Over the past ten years or so, I have experienced ‘out of the ordinary' moments when God has spoken directly to me and through me, empowering me by His Spirit for a particular moment. Whether that be when leading others in worship or teaching, amidst the joy of worship, in the quiet of solitude, in a remote village in Thailand, or through the dramatic miracle of physical healing in my life. These moments of hearing the Shepherd’s voice, of knowing that He knows me, and of following Him are life-defining for me.
Why I do it
Community and family are so very important to me. I love organising events that bring people together with joy, laughter, beauty, and friendship. I want people to feel welcomed and loved. I want people to know that they belong and are important. I want everyone to leave a Riverlife Event with full hearts… and tummies! God has designed us to love and be loved.
