A BIT ABOUT ME

I didn’t grow up in a church. However, just over five years ago, my wife and I found Riverlife and have felt at home ever since. I quickly jumped in to serve in Youth and as one of Riverlife’s photographers. I am now looking forward to being on team and contributing. I am married to Amy who is the most amazing person. I continue to thank God for her. One of my favourite things to do is photography - there is something about seeing the world through a camera lens. Other hobbies that I enjoy include Basketball and anything motorsport related.

MOST DEFINING MOMENT

I would have to say it was the moment that God became real to me. I was going through a very intense time, struggling with anxiety. After what felt like a long six months of looking for help, I hit the point where there was only one place left to turn, and that was to God. My in-laws prayed for me over the phone. This was the first time I have heard someone pray for me, and in that moment everything changed. It was like the atmosphere had changed. I didn’t know what was going on, but it felt like peace. The following Sunday, my wife and I would walk into Riverlife.

WHY I DO IT

I enjoy lifting people up and making them feel valued. God has used others to show me that I am valued and loved, I want to do the same. This might be a simple conversation or sharing a photo of a special moment.
