A bit about Me
I’ve been a pastor on staff here since 2012 and I currently drive a 2004 Mazda hatch. My wife Paula and sons Oskar and Arlo are an absolute gift to me and time with them doing anything at all, is super precious. You couldn’t have ever told me this is where I’d currently be, but my life dramatically changed one morning after a school graduation party and haven’t looked back.
Don’t tell the rest of the church, but despite my role I can’t actually read music… I do however owe my life to Jesus and are grateful more than words can express! A current conviction I have is that the vacuum of social media is somewhat of a tragedy of our time and energy. Fresh baked goods on the other hand…. a different story! I grew up living on the Brisbane River, went to St Peters at Indooroopilly, have played sport all my life and have seen these past 15 years the wonder working power of Jesus save, heal and deliver lives all over the world.
Most Defining Moment
November 2007. Jesus Saves! Close second, would be seeing a blind eye open.
Why I do it
The bio and the image of Jesus presented in our world doesn’t match the real deal! I want to help shift that for this next generation and generations to come. Pastoring gives you a real opportunity to make a difference both inside and outside the walls of the church.
