Stepping In
The church is more than a building or an event. Ekklesia, the ancient Greek word for ‘church’ actually means gathering. It is a gathering of the people of God, coming together in His presence for worship, discipleship and reaching out. Buildings may provide structure, but what truly matters is on the inside – the people.
1 Corinthians 12 highlights the church as a deeply interconnected community, empowered by the Holy Spirit through diverse gifts. No one is unnecessary, interchangeable, or meant to exist alone.
