Further In, Further On
Pastor Jo unpacked the Further In Further On message through four pictures: roots, wings, a road, and a boat.
Drawing on Psalm 1, Isaiah 40, Matthew 16 and Mark 8, he reminded us that depth comes from being close to God rather than doing more for him, that we rise on strength received rather than strength we generate, and that we're called to be a movement that multiplies outward rather than a position that simply holds its ground. Whatever lies ahead for Riverlife, we go knowing Jesus is already in the boat with us.
