TO ROME
WITH LOVE
A JOURNEY THROUGH THE BOOK OF ROMANS
We begin a new preaching series through Paul's Letter to the Romans, a book that has shaped and challenged the church for two thousand years. Over sixteen weeks, we'll journey through the whole letter, tracing an unfolding argument rather than a set of disconnected topics. We'll see how the gospel first reveals God's righteousness and creates a new family through faith, how it launches a new humanity marked by the Spirit's power, how it vindicates God's faithfulness to His promises, and how it forms a transformed, loving, missionary people in the everyday life of the church.
The Big Idea:
Romans has a way of meeting people wherever they are, whether that's wrestling with guilt and grace, longing for freedom from old patterns, or wondering what it means to belong to God's family alongside people very different from ourselves. Our prayer is that as we work through this letter together, chapter by chapter, we won't just study Paul's words but be shaped by them, growing deeper in our walk with God and further in how we live that out together as a church.
