deeper, stronger, further - not a slogan but a framework that reflects the journey of god’s people
This will be the year we all Grow Deeper and Serve Together. Psalm 1 centres on a picture of a tree planted by streams of water, yielding fruit in season and like this tree, this year, we aim to have roots deeply planted in intimacy with God, a trunk that is sturdy with a discipleship core and fruit that will serve and bless the community together.

We are in a new season—not defined by calendars, but by the work of the Spirit. Standing on sixty years of faithful leadership and generations who have built a vibrant community of faith, God is now inviting us to a journey marked by three movements: going deeper with Him, becoming stronger together, and going further in His kingdom purposes. Deeper, Stronger, Further - this is not a slogan but a spiritual trajectory. The vision honours the past while trusting that God is still forming this church to be a home, a family, and a place of purpose for generations to come.

grow deeper, serve together
Psalm 1 centres on a picture of a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season. It is a compelling image for our year of Growing Deeper and Serving Together.
When people are deeply established in God and strengthened through discipleship, service and mission flow naturally – not out of pressure, but out of calling and shared life. As in Isaiah 61, God’s heart is for His people to be ‘oaks of righteousness’ who rebuild and restore.

STEPPING IN
The church is more than a building or an event. Ekklesia, the ancient Greek word for ‘church’ actually means gathering. It is a gathering of the people of God, coming together in His presence for worship, discipleship and reaching out. Buildings may provide structure, but what truly matters is on the inside – the people.
1 Corinthians 12 highlights the church as a deeply interconnected community, empowered by the Holy Spirit through diverse gifts. No one is unnecessary, interchangeable, or meant to exist alone. God arranges the body, giving honour to every part and calling each person to step into their place with purpose, belonging, and responsibility. How will you STEP IN this year?
