Romans 5: Peace, Hope, and the New Humanity

Scripture anchor: Romans 5:1–11; 5:12–21

Pastor Aimee continues our series with Romans 5 exploring that because we've been justified through faith in Jesus, we can stand in grace, hope and peace, even when suffering comes. Paul draws a line between "there" (sin, death, condemnation) and "here" (grace, righteousness, life, reconciliation), challenging the Rome church to stop living in their old identity and start living from their new one. That new identity is communal as well as personal, calling believers to respond to brokenness with love and to protect unity within the body of Christ.
